Penguin Highway, a Japanese science fiction novel written by Tomihiko Morimi, published by Kadokawa Shoten on My 28, 2010.

A manga adaptation was serialized in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive from March 27, 2018 to February 27, 2019 (3 volumes).

Anime Film:

An anime film produced by Tsudio Colorido, directed by Hiroyasu Ishida, released on July 29, 2018.

Story:

Fourth grader Aoyama and a mysterious older woman, who is a dental assistant and also Aoyama’s first crush seek out to discover the reason why a group of penguins appeared in Aoyama’s quiet suburban neighborhood.
