Legend of the Galactic Heroes, a series of science fiction novels written by Yoshiki Tanaka, published by Tokuma Shoten from November 30, 1982 to November 15, 1987 (10 volumes).

An anime adaptation by Production I.G., the 1st season released in April 2018, and the 2nd split into 3-part film series ran from September to November 2019. And the 3rd season will have another 3-part, scheduled to ran from March to May 2022.
