Inuyasha, a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. Published by Shogakukan in 1996-2018, total 56 volumes.
The manga was adapted into 2 anime TV series produced by Sunrise,the first series broadcated for 167 episodes in October 2000-September 2004.
The second series, Inuyasha: The Final Act, ran for 26 episodes from October 2009-March 2010.

Viz Media licensed the manga, the 2 anime series, and movies from 2002-2015. The manga series had over 50 million copies in September 2020, and won the 47th Shogakukan Manga Award for the Shonen catagory.
