Jujutsu Kaisen, a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, published by Shueisha with 16 volumes.
The series starts in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jume magazine on March 5, 2018.
The story follows high school students Yuji Itadori, as a normal high school life, who ate a special-grade curse. He has shared his body with the curse (double-sided inn) with Sukuna Ryomen.
Yuji joins a secret orgainzation of Jujutsu Sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
In 2021, the Jujutsu Kaisen manga had over 50 million copies in circulation, including digital version, making it one of the best selling manga series of all time.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1
Plot:
Negative human emotions – regret, bitterness, shame – are the source of all curses that infest the world and hide in everyday life, leading to death in the worst cases.
Yuji Itadori, a particularly strong young man, attempts to save a friend from a curse, only to wind up consuming the special grade curse of Ryoumen Sukuna’s finger.
With this curse now sharing his body, he is mentored by the curse expert Satoru Gojo to transfer to the Tokyo Metropolitan College of Arts and Science, which specializes in curses. Only a curse can eliminate another curse, and Yuji’s career as a cursed person who must exorcise curses has now begin.

The anime is licensed by Crunchyroll for streaming outside Asia, streaming in many countries in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German.
South East Asia also licensed the series and streamed it on iQIYI, and Netflix.
