An animation series story follow PSO2 Players directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi. The series had 12 episodes, released on January 7, 2016.

Story:

Itsuki Tachibana is a student of Seiga Academy, a co-ed boarding high school with excellent reputation, located in a suburb outside the city center.
