Released in the U.S. on December 17, the film grossed $260.13 million over three public weekends, surpassing Avengers: Infinity War to become the second-highest-grossing U.S. box office.

For the third weekend of its second week of public release (December 24-26), the box office was $81.5 million, making it the no.1 in the U.S. for the second consecutive week. In the U.S., the total box office revenue is $467,331,855(approximately 53.3 billion yen).

In addition, overseas outside the U.S. until Sunday, December 26, the company grossed a cumulative box office revenue of $587.1 million, bringing the total grossing revenue worldwide to $1,054,431,855 (approximately 120.2 billion yen) for totaling U.S. and overseas results.
